The Stanley Hill tree trail is a project I made in collaboration with Dunkled Community Archive and The National Trust for Scotland. The brief was to make the surrounding woodland come to life and tell visitors all about itself. We created these characters called the caretakers. Personifications of all the tree species that grow nearby. It was an enjoyable challenge to give each of the trees a human form and personality.

The interactive map
The interactive map to go with the project came in the form of a double sided leaflet. One side with the map and the other side containing the front cover, the QR codes and a small blurb explaining the origin on the caretakers. The story had to be changed a couple of times and this was the end result.
